On November 19, 2022, the Houniao Band, composed of four senior designers representing Xiwu who custom-entered the competition, went through multiple challenges in the qualifying rounds, semifinals, and encore performances, ultimately advancing to the finals. In the finals, they paid tribute to Foshan's local traditional culture with a song called "Qiaoshan Wenyao". Their skilled singing, perfect teamwork, and moving implications in the song garnered unanimous praise from the judges, ultimately winning the championship in the corporate category of the Foshan Folk Music Competition. Their passion found an echo, becoming a more touching melody than the songs themselves in the finals.
